Kings County Hospital: Breast and Cervical Cancer: Risks, Symptoms, & Stories

The Witness Project of Harlem (WPH) is a breast and cervical cancer educational program that reaches out to African-Americans about the power of early cancer detection. WPH will review racial disparities in breast and cervical cancer diagnoses. Cancer survivors from WPH will openly share details about their diagnoses and treatment. Attendees will learn their risk, understand what is normal for them, and become aware of the importance of being screened.
