Colorectal Cancer is the second most common diagnosed cancer in the United States, which equally affects African American men and women. Colorectal cancer screenings, such as the colonoscopy, can save lives through early detection and prevention. This program is designed not only to increase knowledge about colorectal cancer, but also to improve adherence to recommended screening guidelines. This educational presentation includes an educational video, reviewing facts about colorectal cancer and screenings, while also providing valuable resources. A question and answer segment will follow the presentation.
